Travel Terms and Conditions

 1. Reservation and Confirmations

All reservations to be made in writing via our official website or email addresses.

All reservation requests will be handled/replied within 24 hours. We will inform you in case we are unable to process your requests by the specified time frame.

2. Price

Our prices are quoted in American dollars, net and no commission will be offered. Tour and other services are quoted on per person basis. Single supplements will apply to individual travelers wishing to stay in a single room in a trip.

3. Deposit & Payment

Upon confirmation of a reservation, you are required to deposit 30% of the tour cost within 3 days of booking confirmation. Additional deposits are required for certain services or at certain peak dates. We will advise you of this at the time of process your booking. The rest of package tour price should be paid not less than 45 days prior to departure.

If a booking is requested less than 45 days prior to the arrival date and confirmed, full payment is required before booking is processed.

Payment can be made by: Credit card, bank transfer, in cash or combined. All bank service charges (as may be applied by your bank and intermediate bank) are born by the payer.

In case of payment by credit cards, an additional charge of 3% will be added for Visa and Master Card

4. Privacy

As a customer of Vietnam DH Travel you are guaranteed complete privacy. All personal data and credit card information submitted to us will be handled with 100% confidentiality.

5. Amendment

In case you wish to make amendments to your booking, no charge will be applied if the amendments are not close to the deadline of cancellation (please see cancellation policy). When an amendment is made, the tour cost may change and the new price will apply.

6. Service voucher and Confirm Invoice
Voucher will be issued by DH Travel after the payment is completed. A service voucher and confirm invoice will be sent by email/fax or snail mail to passenger.

7. Relationship
The relationship between DH Travel & Trading Co., Ltd. and you will be that of independent contractors, and neither of us nor any of our respective officers, agents or employees will be held or construed to be partners, joint ventures, fiduciaries, employees or agents of the other.

8. Complaints and Claims
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service DH Travel has provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel advisor to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.

In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days from the end of your tour. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. DH Travel will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.

DH will act as an intermediary between the clients and other services suppliers such as air, train, boat, and hotels in the event of any complaint.

In the event of cancellation we will refund any payment made to Viet Vision Travel (less any cancellation fee that is applicable) within 14 days of our receipt of your written cancellation request.

9. The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:

The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
– More than 30 days prior to trip departure. No charge; however 10% of the tour price for deposit is non-refundable. The rest of 20% of the deposit will be refunded – Cancellation received up to 16 to 30 days before departure: 35 % refund of all monies paid excluding penalties if applicable charged by hotels, airlines and rail. All penalties will be itemized.
– Cancellation received from 7 to 15 days before departure: 50% of the tour price + penalties charged by hotels, airlines and rail if applicable. All penalties will be itemized.
– Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 75% of the tour price + full cost of Mekong River Cruise (applied depend on the cruises) if applicable.
– Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price
– No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the tour price full
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

10. Responsibility & Liability
We shall not be held responsible for the loss of property or additional expenses sustained by customers due to unforeseen disasters such as earthquake, flood, typhoon, fire, disease, adverse weather, etc. or the act of governments or other authorities such as war, strikes, political chaos, riots, quarantine, customs regulations, delays or changes in itineraries or schedules by those out of our control.

In addition, We will not be responsible for any injury, loss, death, delay or damage to personal property that is not related to our services such as airlines delay. Our’s maximum liability, for any reason, will be limited to the amount paid to us for the requested services.

We will not be held responsible for loss, death, physical harm caused to or any expenses incurred by passengers if they deviate from our original tour itinerary or group.

11. Passport and visas

You must carry a valid passport and have obtained all of the appropriate visas, permits and certificates for the countries in which you will visit during your trip. Your passport must be valid for six months beyond the duration of the trip. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas, permits and certificates for your trip; please refer to the Trip Notes for details. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a country because you lack the correct passport, visa or other travel documentation.

12. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain travel and health insurance before taking any of our tours. Insurance is not included in our tour cost.

Your travel insurance must provide cover against personal accident, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of US $200,000 for each of the categories of cover. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability and loss of luggage and personal effects.

13. Children Policy

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult who is parents or legal guardian. In the absence of such persons, written permission from them is required

• Under 2 years – free of charge;
• From 3 to 12 years – 50% discount on overland service if sharing bed with parents and 25% on air tickets, sharing room with parents with an extra bed;
• Above 12 years – adult cost

14. Site accuracy
All efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy of descriptions and information contained on our website. However, occasionally circumstances may subsequently change and in the event of any significant or long-term changes, you will be informed of these at the time of booking or as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure.

15. Communications

You can contact DH Travel via the web form from, email, fax, or phone. If for any reason, you fail to receive any reply from DH in regard of your tour status within 48 hours from the time you submitted the request for booking, modifying, or canceling a tour, please contact DH customer service center at or phone at (84-4) – 942388719 immediately to ensure that we are able to deal with your enquiry under the terms of our Terms and Conditions.
